Dr. Dang is a Board-Certified Neurologist with fellowship training in Vascular Neurology who practices primarily as a Neurohospitalist for Henderson Hospital. He sees patients with a vast array of acute neurological problems, including stroke, cerebral hemorrhage, epilepsy, neuromuscular disorders, headaches and multiple sclerosis. With a background in Vascular Neurology, Dr. Dang is particularly interested in the management and prevention of cerebrovascular disease. He strives to provide compassionate, exceptional care to all his patients and is dedicated to advancing his knowledge on current evidence-based medicine trends.
Dr. Dang grew up in Southern California and attended the University of California, San Diego for his Bachelor of Science in Bioengineering. After graduating, he had the unique opportunity to operate the Epley Omniax Chair for a renowned Neurologist specializing in balance and vertigo disorders. He would go on to obtain a Masters of Arts degree in Biomedical Sciences and attend Midwestern University Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine for medical school. He then completed his Neurology Residency training at Loma Linda University where he served as a chief resident and was awarded the “Resident of the Year” by his peers. Dr. Dang followed his passion for stroke neurology by completing a fellowship in Vascular Neurology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center.
Outside of the hospital, Dr. Dang enjoys being a father to his two young boys and husband to his loving and supportive wife. On weekends, you might find him frequently spending time with his family at the Las Vegas Spring Preserve as membership holders. Dr. Dang has also discovered his passion in the fast-growing sport of Disc Golf and has frequented the local courses nearby.
